Elima

Vi mostro alcune immagini di alcuni scavi che hanno interessato il paese, il territorio dove risiedo in Sicilia, Poggioreale di Sicilia, la sua antica città Elima (rovine) sul monte Castellaccio e la necropoli preistorica chiamata anche finestrelle di Poggioreale in località Pioppo. Venendo da Sciacca in direzione Palermo, all'altezza della Cantina Donnafugata sullo Scorrimento veloce, se alzate lo sguardo scorgerete questo monte a forma di piramide scalena, a pizzo. 

Partendo da molto lontano, voglio anche dire, considerando altri due studi presenti su Academia.edu: https://www.academia.edu/ che riguardano le finestrelle di Gibellina e Poggioreale, sarebbero quelle finestrelle costruite sui monti, potremmo considerarle tombe preistoriche presenti in altre parti della Sicilia, tombe indigene, potremmo asserire che il nostro territorio è abitato dalla preistoria,

ed è anche il meno ellenizzato, nel senso, riprendendo lo studio del 2008 sul monte Castellaccio Falsone - Cerniglia - Sconzo, Elima ha avuto contatti con il modo ellenico verso la fine della sua storia, quando stava già per essere abbandonata.

A quel tempo non si costruivano le Città sul Mare, sarebbero state facilmente saccheggiate o attaccate dai nemici, le costruivano sui monti, da dove avevano una grande visuale sul territorio circostante, sul mare e sulle valli in modo da potersi organizzare in caso di attacco. Lo stesso motivo per il quale Elima è stata costruita sul monte Castellaccio, a pochi km da Entella, poi esisteva un altra città Elima sul monte IATO etc, erano tutte collegate e comunicavano con i fuochi, per mandarsi gli allarmi in caso di pericolo. Come i pellerossa....Il motivo per il quale gli Elimi hanno edificato due delle loro più importanti città nella Valle del Belice, lo si evince dal fatto che il fiume Belice al tempo era navigabile, quindi avevano accesso al Mar Mediterraneo dall'entroterra, allo stesso tempo erano protetti sui monti che circondano la valle, vivevano in un territorio fertile, protetto e con accesso diretto al mare....

Non sono arrivati a costruire i Templi, dalla nostre parti, le città sono state distrutte o abbandonate prima che si arrivasse ad ellenizzarle completamente, tipo Segesta o Selinunte. Ne consegue che il nostro DNA è ancora più puro, meno mischiato...Avoglia di fare conferenze....Camere dei Comuni, Itinerari Turistici e Scavi Archeologici...ma tutto tace da troppi anni...

They didn't get to build the Temples, in our area, the cities were destroyed or abandoned before they were completely Hellenized, like Segesta or Selinunte. As a result, our DNA is even purer, less mixed...
